The Letters Found All Around my Home

The Clamp

Across the trips between my house and my apartment I found many shapes and letters hiding in plain sight, whether it be decorations or something even smaller. It all started when I was opening up an already bag of chips. To do so I had to take the clamp off.

I had to go back to my desk looking for the letter G. I pulled out a roll of tape looking through my drawers, but then it hit as I looked back down.

H

The Book Shelf

I was thinking of forming a shape out of some books for the letter H so I went into my garage and removed some books from a shelf. And there I found what I was looking for.

I

The Roller

I went around searching for more letters throughout my house. I accidentally almost tripped over a roller my dad often uses to relieve tension in his back. And a lightbulb went off as I barely caught myself from hitting the ground.

J

The Candy Cane

As I finished up and put the roller back and continued my search. I placed the roller back in its place and found a candy cane, another tool used for back tension.

K

The Chair

I remember going back and forth searching for the letter K. I noticed that a folding chair was left out in my courtyard so I went to put it away. As I folded it flat, a shape caught my eye.

L

The Lever

Surprisingly there aren’t many household items shaped like an l that can be found in a house. But my searching found an old lever that was once a part of a wagon. And you can’t spell lever without L.

M

The Books

Previously I had placed some books down that I was going to use for the letter H. But I ended up setting them down on their side to take a photo of the book shelf. The Text books were sitting on their sides and it hit me that they could pass of a certain shape.

N

The Pens

I ended up finding a couple pens in my dad’s old desk. It was a bit of stretch but I thought I could make it work.

O

The Roll

Searching through all these cabinets and doors for objects accumulated a lot of dust on my hands. So I walked over to the sink to wash my hands. I dried them off with some paper towels and went to leave, before turning back because I realized I had found my next object.

P

The Driver

While I was looking at my old clubs, I also found my old driver club which brought back a lot of memories of golfing with my parents.

Q

The Wired Headphones

R

The Boot

I began cleaning up my house and stumbled across some of my sister’s old boots. I picked them up and thought “heh, upside down they almost look like… wait a minute”

I returned to my desk and found my golden dragon an old souvenir from my trip to Japan. A figure that could curve into all forms of shapes.

T

The Symbol

On my desk at my apartment, I have a statue of the character known as the Doom Slayer who bears his symbol upon his shield that represents all that is eternal. A symbol that also looks a lot like a letter.

U

The Shell Decoration

Above my fireplace sits a lovely decoration consisting of mini sea shells forming the shape of a horse shoe. And horse shoes always have a very unique and distinct shape.

V

The Wallet

Obviously all of my photos weren’t taken in alphabetical order and towards the end of my quest I felt I was running out of ideas when I accidentally dropped my wallet. I bent down to pick it up, but the position in which it fell gave me a spark of hope.

W

The Colored Pens

As I was searching through my apartment desk, I accidentally spilled over some pens and pencils conveniently forming some of the shapes I needed.

The Xbox

Of course I still need time to myself to let off some stress so during a break I fired up my Xbox to play some games. And I realized a great use was staring me in the face the entire time.

Y

The TV Stand

Before leaving my garage I noticed something poking out. I found a tv stand that I once used to prop up a tv in my old dorm room. It brought back some troubling memories of having to set it up but also allowed me to notice some resemblance of Y.

Z

The Pencils

In the same moment when I spilled those colored pens I also spilled over some pencils which also resembled the final letter I needed which allowed this search to finally end making me realize how many letters have been around me the entire time.
